Brief Content of my Research
この研究は台湾からベトナムへ移転した烏龍茶産業を例とし、中小規模の技術集約型農業投資が受け手社会に与える多面的な影響を解明することを目的としている。受け手社会への影響は三つのレベルの影響が明らかとなると予想される。すなわち、（1）個人レベル：受け手社会の人々の生計構造に与える影響、(2) 地域レベル：受け手社会の労働者構造、土地利用構造、経済構造、環境への影響、(3)全国レベル：投資活動、土地利用、農産物品質管理に関する法律と方針に与える影響である。研究の成果は中小規模の外国直接投資が発展途上国に与える問題点を提示し、中小規模の投資と社会構造の変化の理論を提供する価値がある。
My research is about the multi impacts of small and medium scale FDI to developing countries, taken the oolong tea industry transformation process from Taiwan to Vietnam as example. I plan to clarify the multi impacts through three levels: (1) the individual level: the impact on livelihood; (2) provincial or region level: the impacts on labor structure, land use pattern, economic and industrial structure, and environment; (3) national level: the impact on investment activities, policy and laws about quality control and investment.
The result of my research will depict the domestication process of small and medium scale FDI to receiving society and the potential risks or difficulties both sides need to overcome. Through the result, a new thought to understanding the meaning of FDI activities to receiving society will be offered.
